This game is great, beautiful, and despite what others say...the card system is actually unique and very easily learned if given a little time and attention to the tutorial.... BUT: the ENTIRE experience is ruined...ruined..by the GREEDY monetization system which absolutely makes it impossible to progress your characters beyond a certain point. I would be fine with spending a little money...this is not my complaint, my complaint is that you cant just spend 5$ .10$...or even 20$ FFS to allow your characters some semblance of normal progression. Now..you can farm some gold from the pop matches....at the rediculous rate of something like less than 100 gold a match..if you win...BUT....for example..leveling ONE character from say level 3-4 coats like 4000 gold...and it goes up ALOT every level. Further down the line leveling from say level 6-7 will be somewhere around 8-10,000 gold. So yeah...there is a very HARD paywall at very early in the game. You can also just tell how greedy these devs are by the IAP packages they have available...one of them is almost 100$ ffs...just stay away from this one and do not support these guys...because...these are the type of devs that ruin what could be great games in the mobile industry...dont support this kind of BS.

I have always been a fan of this format. Although it has become very buggy with this last update with iOS 9.3.1 and has been crashing a lot. I wish the Forging was scaled a little better as well. Keep added no more campaign sequences.

Cannot play multiplayer mode with new update. Please fix this soon :(

Great game. I ran into no issues but I got the game after the last update. I like the mixture of turn based strategy and the use of certain cards for your actions. Also like the fact that you can turn any card into a move card. Good graphics although not up to the free blade quality

The developers need to review the objectives for achieving victory because they have made it almost impossible to play enjoyably. For example 30 enemies IS NOT EQUAL FOR THE GAMEPLAY. On top of everything else the ability for the computer AI to never die almost always is a huge let down. FIX YOUR GAME.

Pros: -No need to pay to unlock content -good graphics and sound -many cards to collect -has multiplayer -generous rewards and loot from the single player campaign -auto saves wherever you are in a campaign Cons -terrible matchmaking -fast forward isnt fast enough to skip enemy turns when youre flooded by them -can be pay2win/grind2win heavy in multiplayer -general combat and multiplayer can get redundant and repetitive fast -rarer cards are flat out better than common -facing directions to attack, equipped weapons, and same music make it slow or boring at times -crafting cards is random and luck based, so leveling up certain cards is inconsistent and difficult to do

Ive noticed that in the multiplayer mode, my turn will randomly end before the timer runs down to 0:00. In most cases, Im not even touching the phone when this happens. Im planning my next move out and my turn ends. It is usually around the 10 to 20 second area. With the new update, multiplayer crashes the app 100% of the time. Please fix it.

Great game but cant get into PVP. crashes all the time. Since its the only way to make money to upgrade it throws a big wrench in getting through the next missions.

And playing tabletop Warhammer for 30 years almost this is a really good turn-based game You hit the pay wall really quick in the game and cant go much further.

FYI a lot of players: re-install if having update issues w/ last update. which is/was

Works good on iPhone 6 really enjoy playing it

Like the mix of cards and turn based strategy on this game...graphics are sharp on my iPhone 6 and have had no problems with it loading or playing. Downside is that some of the matches are horribly matched for army point values, especially in the later stages where there are endless waves of reinforcements every other turn. My three marines have taken out five times there value in enemies and they keep piling on...like a pile of ants trashing a scorpion.

Not perfect has issues but different and a lot better than most of the stupid games on the App Store

Nice game, but by the third chapter of the story line, the difficulty is cranked too high and boring to play because there is unlimited spawning of bad guys.....which slows the game down as you have to wait for 30 or so bad guys to move....where they cant really move since there are so many of them and they are just blocking each other.
