Pros and cons of Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf app for iPhone and iPad

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf app good for

Best fremium game Ive ever played. The two annoying about it are: 1: you always have to be online. So when you are sitting in the train and want to play a bit, you are going to have a bad time 2: you cant grind exp or gold. How are people able to upgrade the units?
The game is really good, it has some bugs which are disruptive, but dont actually affect the game ultimately as it it turn based. It is a challenging but that just means players need to consider carefully how they are building their decks and playing their characters. I spent about $5 and beat it. All things considered, the duration of the game, how fun it was, I think this was a reasonable amount. I played through it over the course of a month in spare moments, got to level 13 with my character and got my two favorite squad members to level 5. Its important to make sure as a player you get as many side objectives as possible, it makes the game waaay less difficult in the long run because of the rewards gained.
Get this game if you have a digital "tabletop" gaming itch. Its very fun, very challenging, and can actually be played through without spending money (if youre a dedicated "FTP" player). Trust me though, after experiencing the polish the devs put into the game, you will want to fork over some cash for the experience. The game continues to be updated, and they are kind enough to give away stuff every-so-often via their Facebook page. Excellent support as well.
Like Magic and 40k made a war baby. Fun, and PVP is like healthy crack.
Fantastic app ! 6 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ !!
Like this app as it works really cool and gives me a lot if pleasure to fight on the battlefield.

Some bad moments

I love the concept of this game. The deck building is a neat feature which is awkwardly implemented. The difficulty on this game is insane. It is not fun to play. Many missions feature endlessly spawning enemies. There is nothing tactical or engaging about endless hordes of enemies. The odds of defeating a single enemy in a round are slim (due to the sheer number of missed attacks) so the enemies will always overwhelm you if you dont win the objective. There are loot crate "for powerful rewards" next to the spawn point. I cannot imagine how much money you would have to invest to get powerful enough to fight your way to that loot crate in an timely fashion. And ultimately, getting that loot crate would be nearly pointless with that much money invested. What a waste.
Ok, this is just :D Are You kidding? The game is cool, but the whole thing is about to make You pay ridiculous ammounts of money. Seriously, 50$ to have enough credits to buy at least a few things?? :D Above a basic level it really makes no sense to play without paying for it. - You cant have even decent weapons/cards - You cant improve your character - You cant decide how to improve your squad members ("Level ... is required" WHY? :D ) - You cant continue going on missions because theyre incredibly hard and practically unsolvable - And there is literally no way to get any coins (130 for a multiplayer win when a medium improvement is around 4000? :D ) Therefore after a while this isnt about tactics or strategy or anything, its only about how much did You spend on it. This game is simply not for the fans of strategic/ card games, nor for the fans of Warhammer 40k. This is for the 13 year olds with rich daddies - so they can have their daily mindless butchery. And You cant play it offline and the multiplayer is quite buggy. Get lost, man. :*
Made it past some tutorial stages, but it seems eh. No offline and frequent updates to play it.
Pay to win, in blood. Like, you could buy a used laptop, and the entire Dawn of War series, for the INSANE prices of this games IAP (Up to $99!). Required connectivity means either sucking up all of your data, or only when you are near wifi. Which isnt nearly as "everywhere" as the developers seem to imagine. Grinding for coins would be whatever, if I could play this game offline, at my job that doesnt have wifi.
First off, as everyone else has stated, to really get anywhere it pretty much forces you to pay money. ALOT of money. Whats worse is as a person who has played this game on tabletops since second edition, it feels like the "dice are loaded". Way too often youll get behind a simple chaos cultist with your Captain Astartes in terminator armor, attack with lightning claws...and MISS. Its mind blowing how 2 or 3 cultists with autoguns can kill a marine. Also, the game mechanics are really stupid...to change your facing, you have to move. Not just use a move card, but physically move at least one space...you CANNOT pivot on the spot. Seriously avoid this garbage, not worth any money or time
So, I find this game a lot of fun. However, the fact you HAVE to be facing someone to use a melee weapon (not to mention how much they miss, its frickin melee) is dumb. Literally, you have to waste an entire turn to face someone, then take damage, then you can attack them. Stupid... Ive encountered some bugs as well. My low battery 10% signal came up and froze the game right as I was one or two attacks from winning. Lastly, the weapon upgrading system is absolutely retarded and borderline useless. Heres how it works in a nutshell. You have to have two of the same weapon to upgrade something, however, if you have one of your two weapons equipped in your deck than you cant upgrade it. So, you go to remove it from the deck for a quick upgrade and then the game tells you you have to have 30 cards to back out or it wont let you do anything. So you plug in a random card in its place and then have to back out, go to a new tab, upgrade, back out, go to a new tab, find the random card and remove it, then put your new upgrade in... Way better ways of doing this and EXTREMELY ANNOYING. Honestly, if all they do is fix the upgrade system, id be happy as a clam with this game. Until then, it will annoy the crap out of you... I wish I never downloaded it to be honest. But, Ill keep playing haha
